This whole section should either be left as it is with its current flaws and out-of-date data, or removed.
Making an uncomplete update is not good for anyone.
I'd suggest to scrap this PR.

I don't agree on this.
There is an RFC and there is an Internet Draft, so talking about one state is wrong.
