I think Python 2 is not working anymore as the urllib changed. However Python 2 is EOL on 1.1.2020 anyways. Maybe you can make a last release from the dev branch for Python 2.7 and then merge my PR.

Thanks for pointing to your pull.

I'm relatively novice when it comes to git; can you point me to an easy way of accessing your Fork that works with python 3? Is it enough to just clone the fork on your repo, or is there another, more proper way to do this?
