Getting the check state and the review verdict for every open pull request meant a call per pull request on top of the list, because Forgejo's list route carries neither. checks_state, checks_passes and review_decision now come back as pr list fields. They are not free and the response says so. Each is fetched per displayed row, so --limit and the default display cap bound the work while --full and --json do not, and a field_info block reports which fields were fetched, for how many rows, and every row whose fetch failed. A failed row's field is null: unknown, never a state. The value "all" deliberately does not expand to them. They are valid field names, but letting "all" pull them in would turn an existing one-request call into one request per row without the caller asking. review_decision answers what reviewers said, not whether the pull request may merge -- that is pr mergeability's question. It therefore ignores the official flag, which reports whether a review counts toward a protection rule and is false for every reviewer on a repository without one. A verdict left on a superseded commit reports as stale rather than as the verdict itself, for the same reason a superseded check run must not report as passing. reviewDecision reads the reviews page and stops, so it costs one request whatever the review count, where listReviews costs a further round trip per commented review to fetch inline comments a list does not need.

📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughChangesDerived pull request fields
Estimated code review effort: 4 (Complex) | ~45 minutes Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to The new fields add per-pull-request remote reads; with --full or --json, a large result can generate thousands of sequential requests, causing excessive latency and request pressure. The change is mergeable with owner awareness, with bounded work or controlled concurrency worth considering. Suggested reviewers: Sequence Diagram(s)sequenceDiagram

- Enrich with a small fixed concurrency instead of one row at a time.
- Cap the number of enriched rows and report the cap in

Each is fetched per displayed row. That is the honest cost and I did not want to hide it:
--limitand the default 30-row display cap bound the work;--fulland--jsondo not. Fetching rows the caller asked not to see would be paid for and thrown away.field_inforeports the multiplier -- which fields were fetched, for how many rows, and every row whose fetch failed. What I did verify against a real Forgejo 15.0.6+gitea-1.22.0 instance, read unauthenticated over a loopback forward:
checks_state: successandchecks_passes: trueare computed from that host's two real commit statuses on the head SHA, and--fields allon the same host issued one request and returned nofield_info.What that run did not cover, stated plainly: the repository had no reviews, so the only

Every other value -- including thestalecase, which is the one I most want a second opinion on -- is covered by unit tests against the evaluator and by fixture-backed CLI tests, not by a live host. Creating reviews needs a credential I do not have.Summary by CodeRabbit
