Hello Chad,
I know, I should have done this first. But only after I submitted the PR, I recalled that Neil Bower has suggested a deprecation procedure which, among other effects, would exclude a module from further CPAN-PRC rounds (http://neilb.org/2015/01/17/deprecated-metadata.html).
This time I've also tried to make the appropriate changes for CHANGES and the module version.
