firebase_projects

A Collection of projects implements over firebse and Node used for backend.

  • CRUD_app can do CRUD operations on firestore.
  • auth_app will show you how Password authentication, Google/facebook/github or simple OAuth2.0 authentication works...

Getting Started

Follow below steps to Quick starts

1. Fork this repository.

2. Star this repository (Optional).

3. Clone the forked repository

git clone https://github.com/<your-github-username>/firebase_projects 

4. Navigate to the project directory

cd firebase_projects

5. Add a reference(remote) to the original repository.

git remote add upstream https://github.com/fellowengineer/firebase_projects.git

6. Check the remotes for this repository.

git remote -v

7. Always take a pull from the upstream repository to your main branch to keep it at par with the main project(updated repository). Feel free to raise new issues.

git pull upstream main

8. Create a new branch

git checkout -b <your_branch_name>

9. Run to following commonds to install required dependencies

npm install
nodemon app.js 

10. Open http://localhost:4000 or http://0.0.0.0:4000 to your browser.

11. Start Using it ..

Contribute

1. Follow the Getting Started steps first then do the following ones .

2. Do the relevent change you want ..

3. Before stage your changes, make sure you are in the relavent branch

4. Stage your changes and commit.

git add
git commit -m "your_commit_massage" 

5. Push your local commits to the remote repo.

git push -u origin <your_branch_name> 

6. Now, Head over to github, To create a pull request, click on Compare & pull request. Please ensure you compare your feature branch to the desired branch of the repo you are suppose to make a PR to.

7. Add appropriate title and description to your pull request explaining your changes and efforts you made.

8. Click on Create pull request.

9. And you are done creating a pull request to this project. Be patient while your PR is reviewed.
