Firo QT wallet version 0.14.9.2 introduces MTP stripping. This greatly reduces the blockchain size on disk.
You can still use the existing, non-stripped blockchain with version 0.14.9.2 of the wallet. Upgrading to the smaller blockchain will require syncing from scratch, so do not it if you urgently need to use your wallet.
WARNING: Backup your wallet.dat before starting. Do NOT delete the blockchain folder.
If you perform this operation on an active running masternode, do note that your masternode might be PoSe banned during the downtime which it is resyncing which may necessitate a restart.
- Ensure that your Firo-QT wallet is not running.
- In your Firo data directory, delete the following folders:
blocks
chainstate
evodb
llmq
- Start your Firo-QT wallet again. It will sync from scratch.
