Overview

This release marks a major evolution of the project from an arabterm.org data dump to a comprehensive multilingual dictionary collection serving as the primary data source for Wiki Term Base.

What's New

Expanded Dictionary Collection

• Now includes 51 dictionaries with over 400,000 terms
• Added dictionaries from multiple sources beyond arabterm.org, including:
  • Al-Mawrid Al-Hadeeth (62,266 entries)
  • The Unified Medical Dictionary (132,975 entries)
  • AGROVOC (22,212 entries)
  • Electropedia (20,611 entries)
  • And many more

New Database Schema

• Restructured SQLite database with two tables: dictionary and term
• Added Wikidata IDs for dictionary linking
• Added support for page numbers and source URIs

New Export Formats

• Added SQL dumps for both SQLite and MariaDB in the db/ folder

Breaking Changes

• Database schema changed: category → dictionary, entry → term
• Removed CSV and JSON file exports (data now available via SQLite/SQL dumps)
