To use the calculator, open the index.html
file in any modern web browser.
The calculator interface consists of a display screen and several buttons. The display screen shows the input and output of the calculator. The buttons represent numbers, operators, and special functions.
- AC: Clears the display and resets the calculator.
- DE: Deletes the last character from the display.
- .: Adds a decimal point to the input.
- /: Performs division operation.
- 7-9: Represents the numbers 7 to 9.
- *: Performs multiplication operation.
- 4-6: Represents the numbers 4 to 6.
- -: Performs subtraction operation.
- 1-3: Represents the numbers 1 to 3.
- +: Performs addition operation.
- 00: Represents the number 00.
- 0: Represents the number 0.
- =: Evaluates the expression and displays the result.
The calculator interface is styled using CSS. The cal.css
file contains the styles for the calculator elements. The calculator is displayed on a dark background with buttons having a gradient effect. The display screen is aligned to the right.
Please note that this calculator is a basic implementation and may not handle complex mathematical expressions or support advanced features. It is intended for simple arithmetic calculations.
