Most AI-generated text is recognizable. Not because it is wrong, but because it sounds like every other AI-generated text: the same inflated phrasing, the same hollow structure, the same words that gesture at meaning without delivering it.
antislop is a Claude Code skill that strips those patterns out and rewrites the text to sound like a person wrote it.
git clone https://github.com/galmindaugas/antislop.git ~/.claude/skills/antislopManual:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/antislop && cp SKILL.md ~/.claude/skills/antislop/Paste text:
/antislop
[your text]
Single file:
/antislop report.md
Multiple files:
/antislop posts/**/*.md
Files are edited in place. Pasted text comes back rewritten with a short note on what changed.
38 patterns in six categories. A few examples:
Content inflation — "This initiative represents a pivotal moment in the ongoing evolution of organizational resilience" → "The company restructured its engineering teams in Q3."
Momentum clusters — "foster innovation, catalyze growth, and empower teams to unlock their full potential" → "three new hires and one fewer approval step."
Structure slop — introductions that restate the question, summaries that restate the sections, numbered lists masquerading as essays, both-sides conclusions that reach no conclusion.
Filler — "In order to," "It is worth noting that," "At this point in time," "At its core," "Now more than ever."
Chatbot residue — "Great question!", "I hope this helps!", "Let me know if you'd like me to expand on any section."

Before:
Employee wellbeing serves as a cornerstone of organizational success, playing a pivotal role in fostering a productive and engaged workforce. In today's rapidly evolving workplace landscape, companies that prioritize wellbeing are better positioned to attract top talent, enhance collaboration, and drive sustainable growth.
It is worth noting that research suggests employee satisfaction may potentially have some positive correlation with productivity outcomes. Additionally, a vibrant company culture showcases an organization's commitment to its people, highlighting the intricate interplay between human capital and business performance.
- 🌟 Mental health: Supporting mental health enhances employee resilience.
- 💼 Work-life balance: Balance initiatives contribute to reduced burnout.
- 🤝 Community: A sense of belonging fosters deeper engagement.
Despite challenges inherent to modern work environments, organizations that invest in these areas continue to thrive. The future looks bright for companies committed to this journey. Let me know if you'd like me to expand on any of these points!
After:
Companies with lower turnover spend less on recruiting. That is the business case for employee wellbeing programs, and it is more honest than the usual framing.
The research on specific interventions is thinner than vendors imply. Flexible hours and remote work options show consistent results across studies. Wellness apps and mindfulness programs show almost none. The gap between what companies fund and what the evidence supports is large.
Burnout is worth treating separately from general dissatisfaction. The causes differ — overwork, loss of autonomy, and feeling ineffective are distinct problems that respond to different fixes. Treating all three with a monthly stipend and an EAP hotline is common. It does not work well.
