Description 📝

Evaluates the viability of a software project that uses the RUP methodology, considering the following aspects:

• NPV: Net Present Value
• IRR: Internal Rate of Return
• B/C: Benefit/Cost
• TR: Capital Return Rate

Evalua la viabilidad de un proyecto de software que utiliza la metodologia RUP, considerando los siguientes aspectos:

• VAN: Valor Actual Neto
• TIR: Tasa Interna de Retorno
• B/C: Beneficio/Costo
• TR: Tasa de retorno de capital

Getting Started 🚀

Clone ⬇️

Clone the repository to your local machine

git clone https://github.com/16george/eval_project.git

Requirements 📋

• Python
• pip
• tkinter

Install tkinter (Linux only)

# Debian and Ubuntu based distributions
sudo apt-get install python3-tk

# Red Hat and Fedora based distributions
sudo dnf install python3-tkinter

Environment 🛠️

Create a virtual environment to install dependencies in an isolated environment.

python -m venv venv

Activate the virtual environment

# Windows PowerShell
.\venv\Scripts\activate.ps1

# Linux
source venv/bin/activate

Install the dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

Run ▶️

python main.py

Troubleshooting 🔧

if python is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Try installing python3 and python-is-python3

# Debian and Ubuntu based distributions
sudo apt-get install python-is-python3 -y

# Red Hat and Fedora based distributions
sudo dnf install python-is-python3 -y
