• Environment (Schooner Operating Environment)
  • Hardware
    • CPU: Intel Xeon 2.83G 8 core 64 bits.
    • Memory: 64G
    • Network: 10 Gbps
  • Software
    • Centos 5.2 (both server and client)
    • Memcached 1.4.4 (server side)
    • Java 1.5-16 x86_64 from SUN (client side)
• Test Scenarios
  • Clean environment for each test.
  • Warm server and client before testing.
  • Use default configuration for all clients.
  • 50% set then followed with 50% get. Average latency and throughput were demonstrated in the charts.
