Code Review

This pull request adds an MIT license to the project. The change is straightforward, adding the standard license text to a new LICENSE file. I have one suggestion regarding the copyright year to improve long-term maintainability.

The copyright year is currently hardcoded. This can become outdated over time. For better maintainability, consider using a placeholder like [year] that can be automatically updated as part of your release process. This ensures the copyright notice remains current without requiring manual updates.
