Portable Usage Guide

This guide explains how to use the portable version of Infoscava, which does not require installation and can be run directly from the extracted files.

1. Download the Portable Archive

The portable version of Infoscava is distributed as a .7z archive.

Steps:

1. Go to the Releases Page:

   • Visit the Infoscava Releases page.
   • Locate the latest stable release (e.g., v2.1.9).

2. Download the Portable Archive:

   • Download the Infoscava_standalone_2.1.9.7z file.

2. Extract the Archive

You will need a file archiving tool (like 7-Zip, WinRAR, or similar) to extract the .7z file.

Steps:

1. Locate the Downloaded File:

   • Find the Infoscava_standalone_2.1.9.7z file in your downloads folder.

2. Extract:

   • Right-click on the Infoscava_standalone_2.1.9.7z file.
   • Select your archiving tool's option to "Extract Here" or "Extract to Infoscava_standalone_2.1.9" (or similar, to create a new folder for the contents).

3. How to Use the Portable Version

Once extracted, all the necessary files for Infoscava will be available in the new folder.

Steps:

1. Navigate to the Extracted Folder:

   • Open the folder created after extraction (e.g., Infoscava_standalone_2.1.9).

2. Read the Usage Guide:

   • Inside this folder, you will find a file named USAGE.md. This file contains specific instructions on how to launch and use the portable application. Please open and read this Markdown file.

3. Launch Infoscava (as per USAGE.md):

   • Follow the instructions within the USAGE.md file to run the Infoscava executable (Infoscava.exe within the extracted structure).

System Requirements for Portable Version

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later.
• Disk Space: Approximately 171 MB (after extraction). No additional installation space is required.
