All of the provided input methods (xdotool, ydotool, dotool), doesn't work on my setup (Xorg + custom keyboard + non-English languages). So here is a pynput input method.
On windows the code is not blocking (it only uses pynput.keyboard.Controller); but I haven't tested if it worked.
By the way, nerd-dictation is an awesome little piece of software. Life-changing for people with disabilities.
