my personal take is that given that nearly every person who works on corru is an active or past player of imp so its in the realm of rtvs references/server specific injokes. same reason I'm adding a morshu hat as qm prestige

also I don't think having media references in food is going to inspire people to cosplay as the corru cyst or whatever happens in there (I haven't read corru.observer) so chill in my book

Having not read corru.observer I don't "get" the reference but a) corru.observer is very tied into the community and b) I think simulacra is enough of a sci-fi type term that it reads well enough to those not familiar with the reference

Also its a drink, so it has the usual drink utility. Seems fun to me!
