Updates sec hud, medsec hud, and sec hud eyepatch to have flash immunity so sec players have some style options and don't go blind when just passing the front desk on Packed. Adds "flash-proof contact lenses" to their descriptions. Since sunglasses are so plentiful anyway and do the same thing, it's probably fine.

i'm not really 100% on this since it's a bit visually confusing for somebody with an exposed eye to be completely flash immune. there are already options for giving up stats for fashion (coat vs armor vest) that i wouldn't like to see changed either

well, i added "Comes with flash-proof contact lenses." to the item descriptions if that helps. in hundreds of hours i've just never seen anybody use the other 2/3rds of the sec eyewear, and it's not like flash immunity is a rare commodity since normal-ass sunglasses also provide it. i just want my secoffs to be happy with how they look (like how they also have 2 vest options and 2 gear belt options that are functionally identical)

it's more about the sprite visuals for me. an exposed eye communicates "not flash-immune" to me, which can be important in the very short amount of time you have to make decisions in combat. regular sunglasses are not all that common and pretty much share a sprite with the flash-immune sechud glasses, so you'd expect that to be the case. obviously cheap sunglasses are an exception, but those are common items purely for fashion

sechuds getting flash immunity is awesome me big like. i feel like eyepatches might be a little confusing but i'd kind of kill for more safe security eyewear options than the glasses; it being justified with contact lenses seems like a good enough cover to me. also they're sec; most members of sec would be assumed to have flash protection i would think since i don't ever think i've seen a secoff with their eyeballs out

I agree with Darkmajia, if a sprite offers eye protection I want it to look like it offers eye protection. Contact lenses with perfect built-in eye protection could maybe exist in a futuristic setting, but it just isn't as cool or easy to understand as an actual visible set of glasses. Also, if these lenses exist, wouldn't you (from an in-world perspective) be able to use them without the hud and walk around with invisible eye protection?
I play sec frequently and flashes aren't used that much (aside from it being used to protect some sec and armoury zones), so sacrificing your own eye protection for fashion is doable, just annoying.
That said, it is a shame that these items are shitty (compared to the glasses) so they are never used. The eyepatch looks cool. Maybe there's another way to encourage their use?
