JBang Examples

Repository with various jbang examples.

To use them have jbang installed or open this repository in gitpod.io and try it out directly in your browser.

Editing in gitpod.io

Once the project is open in gitpod.io you can run the individual examples using jbang <file> or simply run it .\<file>, for example:

./examples/helloworld.java GitPod!
Hello GitPod!

For editing you get the best experience by using --edit-live. For example to edit hello.java do the following:

jbang --edit-live examples/helloworld.java

The output will print a url - open that url and you will have a gitpod.io setup with the resolved java dependencies.
