JABS 3.0.0 is now available!

The latest includes all functionality that I projected JABS to deliver on, though the latest release specifically includes in addition to all before:

  • ally AI
  • aggro system
  • crude 8dir (recommended to use external plugin for this)

...and in addition to JABS, we've got these updates too:

  • updated HUD to accommodate more members in the party (recommended use external plugin for HUD though)
  • updated JAFTING (still only v1 though, 2/3 slated for later)
  • updated SDP to use plugin parameters for panels instead of plugin-command-created.

Just download the source code via zip from below to get started!

I would visit this link to see the listed changes available in this update.
This includes updates to JABS, and the addition of a new plugin "Event Describe", along with a few small bugfixes.

Going forward, this demo versioning will be tracked with dates instead of versions of JABS (since there is more than just JABS in here).

This includes all plugins developed/being-developed by me.

Related to JABS:

  • J-ABS v2.3
  • J-ABS-Keys v1.0
  • J-Hud v1.0
  • J-TextLog v1.0

Other systems:

  • J-SDP v1.0
  • J-JAFTING v1.0 (internal, use at your own discretion!)
  • J-ControlledDrops v1.0 (preview)

Other other plugins (not originally developed me, but heavily modified):

  • Yami's 8dir to allow for 8-directional movement+projectiles

Other Other Other plugins (not developed by me, but present anyway):

  • VisuStella MZ CoreEngine (lots of QoL things, also free)
  • Aerosys' random dungeon generator (I plan on adding compatibility down the road, free)
  • Mog Event Text (I didn't feel like coding it myself)

These were designed for use with JABS.
Be aware that using without JABS is largely untested.
