Your application’s structure in graph database
Structgraph is simple console application, that walks jar/war/ear archive and creates neo4j database representing its structure, annotations and method calls.
Project can be built with Maven and Java 8.
$ mvn clean install -Pdist
Profile dist
will copy all runtime dependencies to target/lib
, and the final
jar file will put them on its classpath.
java -jar structgraph-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar <class archive> <database location> <package prefix>
- class archive
-
any jar, war, or ear file.
- database location
-
a non-existing or empty directory where database should be created. structgraph currently doesn’t support merging data from multiple sources
- package prefix
-
classes in this and deeper packages will be processed
Download Neo4j, and install it. Then edit file
<neo4j home>/conf/neo4j-server.properties
. Change org.neo4j.server.database.location
— usually the first setting — to absolute path to the generated database.
Then start the server.
$ bin/neo4j console
And see the console at http://localhost:7474/
