Describe the rationale behind the choice of visualisation techniques for the given scenario.

Describe in specific terms the visualisation component of the SDSS:

visualisation elements (maps and/or charts)
design characteristics of individual elements
functions created for data visualisation
other packages and functions used for data visualisation (if any)
