That will break compatibility with all ESXi hosts that do not support virt HW ver 13... I prefer to keep virt HW ver 8 by default. Maybe a better solution would be to add an option to add/merge "Extra Options" into the vmx file. This way you can specify any value you like and add any addition entries into the vmx file. |
