Local error message keeps being displayed after value was removed #2

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Define showErrorIcon: false in config
  2. Enter invalid value, observe intractable "remover" icon and error message
  3. Click on the icon

Expected:

  1. value to be removed
  2. icon to disappear
  3. error message to disappear
  4. error class jf-element--invalid to disappear

Actual:

  1. value removed
  2. icon disappears
  3. error message persists
  4. error class jf-element--invalid persists
