Description

@ntnn

This issue is a collection of all TODO/HACK/FIXME/... markers in kcp code.
Most of them are relatively easy to pick up and quick wins.

When fixing any of these please pick only a fitting number of issues per pull request and reference which specific TODO in this issue the PR fixes.

    Hi, I'd like to pick up these, one PR each:

    • Authenticator cache TTLs configurable (index_lazy.go:79): add server flags for the success and failure TTLs and pass them to NewLazyIndex, keeping 2h and 10s as defaults.
    • Proxy metrics: include shard URL (metrics.go:53): add a shard label to proxy_request_duration_seconds, like kcp_listener_tls_connection_error already has.
    • Eager authenticator build failure goes stale silently (index_eager.go:98): log the build error instead of returning quietly, and retry with backoff if you'd rather not treat it as a pure config error.
    • kubectl kcp bind selector support (bind.go:357): let a claim carry a label selector instead of always setting MatchAll. --accept-permission-claim is split on commas, so I'd add a separate flag for selectors, unless you have another format in mind.
    • Docs: the bare TODO/TBD markers and the Syncer mention.

    I'll start with the TTL flags.
