You can now create reminders with due dates / times by passing --due-date / -d to the add command:

$ reminders add Soon Go to the grocery store --due-date "tomorrow 9am"
Added 'Go to the grocery store' to 'Todo'
$ reminders show Soon
0: Go to the grocery store (in 10 hours)
