What technologies are used for this project?

This project is built with:

  • Vite
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • shadcn-ui
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Supabase (via Lovable Cloud)

SEO & AI Discoverability

This project is optimized for AI crawlers (GPTBot, Claude, Perplexity) and traditional search engines:

What's Implemented

  1. Comprehensive Meta Tags - All pages have proper title, description, canonical, and OG tags
  2. JSON-LD Structured Data - SoftwareApplication, Organization, and FAQPage schemas in index.html
  3. Noscript Fallback - Full marketing content in <noscript> tags for crawlers that don't execute JS
  4. Sitemap - public/sitemap.xml with all marketing routes
  5. robots.txt - Explicitly allows AI crawlers (GPTBot, Claude-Web, PerplexityBot, etc.)
  6. Per-Page SEO - Blog posts include FAQ schema and article markup

Route Configuration

Marketing routes are defined in src/prerender/routes.ts:

export const PRERENDER_ROUTES = ['/', '/crew-plan', '/blog'];

Adding New Routes for SEO

  1. Add the route to PRERENDER_ROUTES in src/prerender/routes.ts
  2. Add metadata to ROUTE_METADATA in the same file
  3. Add the route to public/sitemap.xml
  4. Use <Helmet> in the page component for dynamic meta tags

Limitations

  • Dynamic routes (/blog/:slug) rely on client-side rendering
  • Full SSG prerendering would require framework migration (Next.js/Astro)
  • The current solution maximizes AI discoverability within Vite SPA constraints

Verification

Run after build to verify SEO content:

node scripts/verify-prerender.mjs
