Overview

AI Sheets provides a Google Sheets-like interface enhanced with AI assistance for data analysis, formula creation, and spreadsheet manipulation. The application features real-time AI chat integration that can help users perform complex data operations, create visualizations, and analyze their data intelligently.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18 or later
• pnpm (recommended) or npm
• Anthropic API Key (for AI functionality)

Installation & Setup

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/ai-sheets.git
   cd ai-sheets

2. Install dependencies

   pnpm install
   # or
   npm install

3. Environment Setup

   Create a .env.local file in the root directory:

   ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=your_anthropic_api_key_here

   You can get your API key from Anthropic's Console

4. Run the development server

   pnpm dev
   # or
   npm run dev

5. Open the application

   Navigate to http://localhost:3000 in your browser
