## You can use a dynamic DNS domain

There are a plenty of free Dynamic DNS domains services, such as [freemyip.com](https://www.freemyip.com), that you able to use for your local development in https.

1. Register a free domain, for example, mydomain.freemyip.com,
2. Update it with your current public IP address
3. Make sure that your LAN's default gateway has a port 80 forwarding to your local development machine
4. Make sure that your local web server works properly
5. In your local server configuration's either the default website or any other virtual host add the new registered, `mydomain.freemyip.com`, free dynamic dns domain as a site name or as an alias, then restart your server
6. Run the Let's Encrypt script to get the certifications, you should see the registered domain listed. choose its number and complete the process.
7. In your OS `hosts` file add the following entry: 127.0.0.1 mydomain.freemyip.com
8. That's all, now, you are able to access your local development server via HTTPs
