Description

The linux kernel git tree contains a few tools like perf, turbostat and amd_pstate_tracer. Those tools may contain implementation details that could extend the usefulness of our current sensors.

We have to be careful about creating derivative works of gpl code. Hardware facts are ok, implementations are more iffy. Would like to keep the licensing for siomon as permissive as possible.
