Thanks for giving this a shot. It's really interesting to see. Overall, however, I think this change is too aggressive. IMO we're providing edge releases to users for a reason and we should be generally encouraging people to use them, not throwing warnings and caveats at every point. We should make it clear what the guarantees with edge releases are (and aren't), and what the alternatives are, but in a more neutral way. |
