esp-idf & lvgl

This repository shows how to initialize lvgl with minimal code.

Circuit

esp32s3 + st7789(240*240)

// pin 12 and 11 should not be changed, otherwise spi will fall back 40Mbps instead of 80.
#define ST7789_LCD_BK_LIGHT_ON_LEVEL  1
#define ST7789_PIN_NUM_SCLK           12
#define ST7789_PIN_NUM_MOSI           11
#define ST7789_PIN_NUM_MISO           (-1)
#define ST7789_PIN_NUM_LCD_DC         15
#define ST7789_PIN_NUM_LCD_RST        16
#define ST7789_PIN_NUM_LCD_CS         (-1)
#define ST7789_PIN_NUM_BK_LIGHT       14

Software

The lvgl community adapted the esp-idf environment, and espressif released the lvgl driver package for st7789 lcd screen.
Both of them are available at ESP Registry. We can now add this two dependency using idf-component-manager

idf.py add-dependency "lvgl/lvgl^8.3.0"
idf.py add-dependency "espressif/esp_lvgl_port^1.0.1"

Requirement

IDF 5.0
