When using the Synchronize feature in HardInfo, some information may be stored indefinitely in our servers.

This information is completely anonymous, and is comprised solely from the machine configuration (e.g. CPU manufacturer and model, number of cores, maximum frequency of cores, GPU manufacturer and model, etc.), version of benchmarking tools used, etc. You can opt out of sending this information to our servers by unticking the "Send benchmark results" entry in the Synchronize window.

No other information, besides requests to obtain files from our servers (to e.g. update the PCI ID database) will be sent to our servers if you opt out of sending benchmark results by unselecting the appropriate option in the Synchronize window. If the Synchronize function isn't used at all, HardInfo won't contact our servers.

Both the HardInfo client and its server components are open source and can be audited.
