Tested and Passed

• Extra API check works fine for all the basic edge cases.
• Also tested this for major edge cases
• works fine for both created and assigned Todo issue.
• Also tested the CSS issue of the channel modal.

Tested and approved, LGTM!

Note:- Some bugs were found during the regression testing, but after investigating more, they were found not to be occurring due to this PR. Those all are already logged as Github issues.
