OctoPower v.1.0

Remotely switches on/off a 3D printer.
Use amazing Denkovi Microchip MCP2200 based board: https://denkovi.com/usb-relay-board-four-channels-for-home-automation-v2.
Controls MCP2200 GPIO via USB HID interface.
Easy OctoPrint integration.

Requirements

Running OctoPower

cd ~
git clone https://github.com/mcecchi/OctoPower.git
cd OctoPower
sudo ./octopower <socket> <on|off>

Add commands to OctoPrint System Commands

Add the following commands to ~/.octoprint/config.yaml in section system: actions: after already configured commands:

  - action: divider
  - action: Light ON
    command: sudo ~/OctoPower/octopower 1 on
    confirm: ''
    name: Light ON
  - action: Light OFF
    command: sudo ~/OctoPower/octopower 1 off
    confirm: ''
    name: Light OFF
  - action: divider
  - action: Printer ON
    command: sudo ~/OctoPower/octopower 0 on
    confirm: You are about to switch ON your 3D printer.
    name: Printer ON
  - action: Printer OFF
    command: sudo ~/OctoPower/octopower 0 off
    confirm: You are about to switch OFF your 3D printer.
    name: Printer OFF
