This project has 10 main folders:

* analysis_data - contains all the data used in analysis

* code - contains all cleaning code

* created_data - contains all data that was created from raw data, but not necessarily used for analysis. Secondary-step data.

* figures - contains all code for making graphical figures.

* lit_review - contains all microsoft word documents for making notes on papers.

* paper - contains Rmarkdown file for the main paper production.

* presentations - contains all presentations for this particular paper.

* raw_data - holds all raw data, completely unchanged.

* tables - contains all code necessary for making the analysis tales

* updates - contains small, incremental updates for committee members.

Note that there is a .gitignore file. This file is specifically for GIT. It describes which files/folders should not be version-controlled.
