In addition to the DirectXMesh library and meshconvert tool, this repository includes a few miscellaneous standalone utilities for working with meshes. They are located in the Utilities folder.

FlexibleVertexFormat.h

This header provides helpers for working with Direct3D 9 era FVF codes and vertex decls. These are often written into older file formats like SDKMESH and X Files.

WaveFrontReader.h

This is a simple reader for WaveFront OBJ mesh data files used by meshconvert and uvatlas, as well as a few samples.
