Wrong ESR Calculation after moving from EA to MCA in Rate Optimization

After moving from EA to MCA, ESR Calculations are wrong in the Rate Optimization Reports.

This is due to the List Cost and Effective Cost is same under Amortized Charge (x_amortizationclass)

Has anyone faced this issue of wrong ESR Calculation especially in MCA?

This looks like the same underlying mechanism tracked in #2214: rows carrying a real EffectiveCost with ListCost missing or equal to it (common on amortized/reservation and Marketplace rows — and EA→MCA migrations tend to surface more of these) collapse the per-row savings calculation and skew ESR.

We're tracking the fix in two parts:

• Fix Data Explorer dashboard savings formulas and FX fallback #2248 — dashboard-side fix (ADX dashboard tiles summing raw cost instead of the already-clamped savings column), currently in review
• Fix ingestion-side ListCost repair gaps for ESR/savings accuracy (defects 2-4 from #2214) #2286 — ingestion-side fixes (why some of these rows never get repaired in the first place, plus data-provenance gaps)

Closing this as a duplicate of #2214 to keep the investigation in one place. If you have a specific export/hub where you can confirm ListCost == EffectiveCost on the affected rows, adding that data point to #2214 would help — otherwise we'll follow up here if we need MCA-specific repro details.
