I'll plan on abandoning this PR since I created it solely for the purpose of comparing whether certain CI failures I was seeing in the 1.23.3 cherry-pick branch also repro against the prior release. |

Trying to gather some pipeline data on the 1.23.2 release branch via this dummy PR (if there's a better way to initiate a run on that branch, please let me know in the comments!).
