Video categories can be used when searching. You have to use the ID of the category when searching, however some of the most used categories has string representations built in.
To get the most updated list of string representations, use the help search command.
Here is the current list:
- 1 - film - Film and animation
- 2 - autos - Autos & Vehicles
- 10 - music - Music
- 17 - sports - Sports
- 19 - travel - Travel & Events
- 20 - gaming - Gaming
- 21 - blogging - Videoblogging
- 25 - news - News & Politics

Categories with * after the name are not assignable by people and is most likely used internally by Youtube.
