Bayes Training

As of Sept 1, 2017, Mail Toaster 6 includes sieve rules that train the bayes engines in both SpamAssassin and rspamd. These are installed automatically as part of provisioning the dovecot jail.

The bayes training rules are purposefully conservative and user driven. The actions can be customized in /data/dovecot/etc/local.conf.

Spam is Trained When:

  • When messages are moved from anywhere to the Junk folder

Ham is Trained When:

  • When messages are moved from Junk to anywhere.
  • When messages are moved from anywhere to Archive.
