Basically what it says on the tin: use the alternate selection mode to add ores without triggering auto-detection.

Maybe pair with #57 for a somewhat different UI experience.

Not at all sure about the value here, though: do you ever want to add a partial site, e.g., only a small block of a larger site?
...Maybe if you were feeding different ore columns to different purposes, e.g., some to a gear factory, some to an engine factory? It's hard to imagine the value proposition here.

Found a use scenario in #133: the DangOREous mod (most recently styled as dangOreus makes large fairly-contiguous ore patches where this feature would be most helpful.
