Nimble Commands

Collection of commands for testing on nimble devices.

Ethereum Commands

Running GETH in light client mode with 256MB of allocated cache.

sudo ./geth --syncmode "light" --rpc --rpccorsdomain "*" --cache "256"

Running GETH in fast client mode with 512MB of allocated cache and datadir set.

sudo ./geth --syncmode "fast" --rpc --rpccorsdomain "*" --cache "512" --datadir "/home/pi/external/.ethereum"

Running GETH in full client mode with 512MB of allocated cache and datadir set.

sudo ./geth --syncmode "full" --rpc --rpccorsdomain "*" --cache "512" --datadir "/home/pi/external/.ethereum"

Bithereum Commands

Running pruned Bithereum on low memory devices.

Mounting external drive

# ExFat Dependency
sudo apt-get install exfat-fuse exfat-utils -y 

# Create directory for drive
mkdir external

# Get drive label
sudo fdisk -l 

# Format drive as ext3
sudo mkfs.ext3 <drivepath>

# Mount drive to directory using its label
sudo mount <drivepath> external
