chore: keep only the contributor collector - #461
Conversation
The leaderboard and the profiles moved to nuxt.com/nuxters, which imports the files in public/. Remove the Nuxt app and serve nuxters.nuxt.com as a static deployment of public/: the redirects and the JSON files keep working.

The leaderboard and the profiles moved to nuxt.com/nuxters, which imports the files in
public/on every push (nuxt/nuxt.com#2458). The Nuxt app here no longer serves any page since #455, so this PR keeps only what the collector and nuxters.nuxt.com still need.Removed:
app/,server/,shared/,nuxt.config.ts, the Nuxt component and browser tests, the placeholder unit test,.env.example(OAuth and Discord secrets of the old app), the card and background images, and about 30 dependencies.Kept: the collector (
scripts/), its country tests (test/unit/countries.spec.ts, from #460),public/contributors*.json,public/profiles.json, the workflows and the Renovate config.nuxters.nuxt.com becomes a static deployment of
public/:vercel.jsonsets no framework, no install, no build andoutputDirectory: "public". The redirects are unchanged./contributors.jsonis still served, since at leastzhcndoc/nuxtandniceplugin/nuxt-koreanfetch it./api/contributorsis rewritten to/contributors.json;/api/contributors/<username>now returns 404 (no callers found in GitHub code search).Tooling: standalone
tsconfig.jsonandeslint.config.mjs(@nuxt/eslint-config), scripts arelint, typecheck, testandcollect:contributors, and CI runs all three checks.pnpm lint, pnpm typecheckandpnpm test(20 tests) pass locally, andCOLLECT_REPOS=nuxt/nuxters pnpm collect:contributorswrote every period file andprofiles.json. To check on the Vercel preview before merging: the redirects answer 301 and/contributors.jsonand/api/contributorsanswer 200.Written by an AI agent (Claude Code) on behalf of @atinux, who asked for this change.
