Summary

Add a new curated skill: frontend-design, focused on high-craft frontend UI design + production-ready implementation.

Motivation

Frontend outputs can easily drift into generic “template-y” UI. This skill nudges Codex toward an explicit visual thesis (tone + constraints + differentiation) and then executes it with consistent typography, color, spacing, motion, and accessibility basics.

What’s included

  • skills/.curated/frontend-design/SKILL.md — skill metadata + instructions (design thinking → deliverable bar → aesthetics guidelines)
  • skills/.curated/frontend-design/LICENSE.txt — Apache-2.0 license

How to use / Validation

  • Use when prompts involve building or beautifying UI: pages, landing pages, dashboards, React components, or HTML/CSS layouts.
  • Verified: folder structure + SKILL front matter + Markdown rendering/readability.

Notes

  • Documentation-only (no scripts/tools added).
  • No breaking changes.

Checklist

  • [ ✅] I confirm this skill follows the expected layout (SKILL.md + license).
  • [ ✅] I confirm the content is original or appropriately licensed.
  • [ ✅] I confirm no secrets or proprietary data are included.
  • [ ✅] I’m okay with “Allow edits by maintainers”.

CLA check still fails with: Branch cla-signatures not found. Could a maintainer please create/unprotect the cla-signatures branch (or adjust CLA Assistant settings) so signatures can be recorded?

@214140846, I added the branch. Please give it another try.

After commenting recheck, no new CLA workflow was triggered (there’s no new run in Checks, or it shows “awaiting approval”).

Could a maintainer please approve/rerun the CLA Assistant in Actions, and confirm the cla-signatures branch isn’t protected and that GitHub Actions has write access to record signatures?

@214140846, I just tested the CLA workflow on a separate PR, and it worked for me. Please give it another try. If we can't get it to work after one more attempt, I can override manually.

@etraut-openai I reopened the PR and that resolved the issue — thanks a lot, and appreciate it if you could review the PR when you have time.
