(I don't know how does it work excactly, so maybe I'm completely off.)

I tried to find something and I came across this https://askubuntu.com/questions/627554/comprehensive-list-of-czech-words-in-ubuntu-usr-share-dict. There is a Github link to list of ~166k Czech words. Is it helpful? 🤔

EDIT: Also something here https://www.cs.hmc.edu/~geoff/ispell-dictionaries.html#Czech-dicts But everything is apparently for "spell-checking", so I have no idea if it can be used as a dictionary for the keyboard.

Hi, how can help to get this merged? The PR has been open for almost a year.
I like Openboard, but missing Czech support is a blocker for me.

Dicts can be under proprietary licenses, we do need to know were a dict and its word list come from before merging it into OpenBoard, unfortunately.
You can look for a free of copyright dict, or create one from a word list, see README on how to create a dict from a word list.

This is ... frustrating. What if someone knowledgeable of the process and of the tools identified a repository with a suitable license where dictionaries can be downloaded from (Mozilla? Apache?) and processed them all?
