This PR includes only basic handling of
MeshFederationresource. It reconciles Gateway, Routes and EnvoyFilters for federated services and reconciles PeerAuthentication for local FDS server.I reverted
--use-ctrlsflag, because it wasn't really necessary to run new controllers with our custom reconcilers.Tested on OpenShift and KinD and happy paths work.
This PR does not include finalizing and cleanup. There are many TODOs, which we can address in follow-up PRs.
Important: this implementation does not handle removing child resources properly - this will be addressed in follow-up PR as well.
I also removed unnecessary fields from
MeshFederation, because they were added to the design by mistake.
