Error results locally were somewhat different from what was reported in the Snyk portal, however the problematic packages were highlighted in both areas, and at least locally, there are no signs of vulnerabilities with the dependency updates.
Another note is that for whatever reason, the vscode directory had no committed yarn.lock prior to this change.
