Using a settings in an annotated code may cause mypy to complain about their API

from appsettings import AppSettings, ListSetting

class FooSettings(AppSettings):
    a_list = ListSetting()

# mypy complains: error: Value of type "ListSetting" is not indexable
FooSettings.a_list[0]
