What

Housekeeping and doc polish:

  • doctor: drop chainwatch from the companion-tool checks; keep ancc.
  • pkg docs: simplify the pkg/ package-level doc comments to describe the public API as being for "external consumers" generically. Comment text only — no API, types, or logic change.
  • README: lead the opening line with what the tool does instead of a contrast phrasing.
  • howto: note that the launch pipeline's per-operation .bak files are cleared when clean, fix, and rewire run in sequence, so the checkpoint is the restore point for a full run.

Why

chainwatch is no longer a companion tool this project checks for. The doc changes keep the public API description neutral and make the launch backup behavior explicit.
