Summary

  • Root README is the library postcard: title, short description, optional docs/ link, license from files on disk, QuantX footer.
  • CLI extras (GIF, install, usage) are not in this change.
  • License block matches LICENSE files. Private repos omit “open-source” in the footer.

Test plan

  • README renders on GitHub
  • Footer image loads
  • License links resolve
