v0.82 (2024-11-29)

The upstream 0.82 is based on the main branch, unlike a few previous versions.
The branch includes various refactorings the author has been working on.
As a result, the patches could not be applied seamlessly in many portions, and some issues needed to be fixed while resolving conflicts.
If you encounter any remaining issues yet to be found, please consider using version 0.81 instead.
